Dijous 8 de març, dia de la dona a Kampala, capital d'Uganda... L'entrada al país la fem per Busia, una mica abans de les 5 a.m., caminant i mig adormits... podríem parlar molt sobre el ritme africà per intentar saber com és, però hi han dos moments en els que tenim clar que el ritme ha de ser rapidíssim: a l'hora de pagar, i quan creues una frontera caminant i el conductor del bus t'està esperant impacient!

Thursday 8 of March, Day of the woman in Kampala, capital of Uganda... (This article in English for friends who don't read french or catalan)... We enter in the country by Busia, just before 5am, walking sleeping... We could talk a lot about african rythm of life to try to know how is it, but there are two moments that we know for sure that the rythm has to be very very fast: when you have to pay and when you cross the border while the driver is waiting for you impatient!

La primera sensació a Uganda ha sigut molt bona, en el viatge fins a Kampala ja descobrim un país molt verd i frondós, un dels països que té l'honor de gaudir del riu Nil, i un país amb molts plataners.

The first sensation of Uganda is very good. During the travel to Kampala we discover a very green country, one of the countries who have the honor of having the Nile river, full of banana's trees.

 Aquesta és una especialitat que nosaltres hem anomenat "bananes pocket".

This is a speciality that we have called "banana pocket".

A cada racó hi ha mil coses per veure i descobrir, per exemple, a la foto de dalt, quanta gent hi veieu?

At every corner there's a lot to see and discover, for example, in this picture, how many people do you see?

La capital ja no és Nairobi, la terra vermella encara hi té lloc i els edificis ja no són tan alts, però el caos és el mateix i més aprretat! Per això el transport més utlitzat és el "boda-boda", motos on el mínim son 2 persones i el màxim depèn del pes i de l'edat, nosaltres hem arribat a veure 5 persones! però sempre és millor que els matatus, minibus, que poden trigar hores en creuar la ciutat.

This capital is different from Nairobi, the red land is still there and the buildings aren't so high but the cahos is the same more compressed! That's why the most popular and used transport is the "boda-boda", a motorbike of two people minimum and the maximum depens on the weight and the age, we have seen five people on it! It's even better than a matatu, minibus, where you can spend hours crossing the city.

Al backpackers hostel, hem tingut la sort de conèixer al més simpàtic i millor boda-boda d'Uganda, en Richard, que amb la seva gorra vermella i blanca ens va contagiar molt del seu riure, i ens va obrir el seu cor xerrant de les seves esperances i desesperances...  Huébalé sébo Ricardito!

In the Backpackers hotel, we have been lucky to meet the kindest and best boda-boda driver of Uganda, Richard, with his red and white hat who makes us laugh a lot and who opens his heart to us talking about his hopes and desillusions... Huébalé sébo Richard!

Maria, una noia de Burgos que està fent la tesi a Uganda, ens va convidar a celebrar el dia de la Dona al Teatre Nacional, on passàven diversos documentals i hi havia concertàs!

Maria, a girl from Burgos, Spain, who is preparing her thesis in Uganda, she invited us to celebrate Woman's Day in the National Theatre, watching documentaries and enjoying a great concert!
